Jaws star Roy Scheider dies, aged 75



Roy Scheider, the thespian best known for his role as the beleaguered law head Martin Brody in 'Jaws', has died. He was 75.
The two-time Academy Award candidate died of complications from multiple myeloma, a crab of the blood cells, at the Myeloma Constitute for Research and Therapy at the University of Arkansas for Checkup Sciences in Little Sway.
Hospital interpreter Leslie President Taylor said the histrion had been treated there for the disease at different times o'er the yesteryear deuce days.
New Jersey-born Scheider earned his first Oscar nomination (Topper Supporting Worker) in 1971 for 'The French Connection'.
Eight age by and by he was nominated for the C. H. Best Histrion Oscar for his functioning in 'All That Jazz'.
Among his other credits were 'Klute', 'Marathon Man', 'Still of the Night' and the TV hazard series 'SeaQuest DSV'.
